Thank you to Christie from 1000 Places and Memories and Allan from PhotoBlography3 for nominating us for the Travel Challenge. The challenge is to post a favourite travel picture for 10 days, without explanation and then nominate someone else to participate. We probably won’t make 10 days, and you may have already seen the pictures since they will already have been in a blog post, but here it goes.
We nominate Sofia from Travel with Sofia. Please link to us so I don’t miss your picture! Have fun!

What a wonderful experience to have had amidst your hikes and climbs.

Thanks Allan, the sunrays gave it that extra mystique.

Such an amazing shot! It looks like the whole world energy descended upon the Buddhists.
So, you nominated Allan back, after all ππ

Thanks, it was a really special puja and the sun’s rays were perfect. I did nominate him but just joking, I’m sure he won’t do it again. ππ

What a great photo! That shaft of light is perfect – like something out of an Indiana Jones movie!

Thanks I know it was pretty cool. We weren’t supposed to have cameras so Richard took this without even aiming!

Is this Tawang monastery? I could be wrong, but that’s the light I have in my photos from the morning service there

It was Thupchen Monastery/Gumba in Lo Mantang, Nepal. Tawang is in Arunchal Pradesh? We haven’t been there but would love to go one day.

Thupchen Gompa is new to me. Goes into my bucket list for Nepal. Yes, Tawang is in Arunachal Pradesh, and one of the most important centers for Tibetan Buddhism.
