Love the lily ponds, wherever I see them. Not sure these are lilies, but they are pretty nonetheless. Assume this is in Africa somewhere. Stay well. Allan

They’re red lotus. in Thailand. The massive, shallow lake was covered in them, so pretty.

Thanks Arv, it was incredible. A huge, shallow lake covered in pink lotus. We took a boat ride to the middle of the lake.

The white ones bloom in a different season, I think 6 months apart. So then the lake would be covered in white. Somehow this flower got confused 😊

It’s such a pretty lake, the white one was the only white we saw. It’s near Nakhon Phanom, Thailand.
