Tengboche Gompa (Monastery) has a gorgeous setting below the majestic Ama Dablam. The Khumbu region on the way to Mt. Everest has some of the most spectacular scenery.

The village of Namche Bazaar sits along the walls of a mountain cirque. We hiked above the village for this bird's-eye view of the homes clinging to the side of the mountain.
